PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Triceratops(FP-01) Overview: Triceratops is an extinct genus of herbivorous chasmosaurine ceratopsid dinosaur that first appeared during the late Maastrichtian stage of the Late Cretaceous period, about 68 million years ago in what is now North America. A ceratopsid long regarded as a separate genus, represents Triceratops in its mature form. The functions of the frills and three distinctive facial horns on its head have long inspired debate. Traditionally, these have been viewed as defensive weapons against predators.

Yinlong(FP-02) Overview: Yinllong is a herbivorous dinosaur that lived in South America in the Upper Cretaceous, and lived in the Late Cretaceous 73 million to 65 million years ago. It was found in Argentina, Uruguay, and South America. Because its fossils were found in Argentina, and the country name of Argentina has the meaning of “yin”, it is called Yinlong. It is one of the large dinosaurs, some can even reach 20-30 meters in length and weigh about 45-55 metric tons.

Chaoyangsaurus(FP-03) Overview: Chaoyangsaurus is a marginocephalian dinosaur from the Late Jurassic of China. It has been dated to between 150.8 and 145.5 million years ago. Chaoyangsaurus belonged to the Ceratopsia. Chaoyangsaurus, like all ceratopsians, was primarily a herbivore.Unlike many other dinosaurs, Chaoyangsaurus had been discussed in a number of sources before its official publication. The first name to see print was Chaoyoungosaurus, which appeared in the guidebook to a Japanese museum exhibit, and was the result of an incorrect transliteration from the Chinese into the Latin alphabet.

Procompsognathus (FP-04) Overview: A fast and active predatory beast, Procompsognathus, also named Apatosaurus ,probably hunted lizards and insects in packs. It runs on its long hind legs, uses its tail for balance, and uses its short forelegs to catch prey and deliver it to its mouth. Lived in Europe in the Late Triassic. At 1.2 meters long, Procompsognathus had a long neck and tail. Their cervical vertebrae were shorter and heavier than those of Diplodocus, and their leg bones were stronger and longer than those of Diplodocus.

Herrerasaurus(FP-05) Overview: Herrerasaurus was a genus of saurischian dinosaur from the Late Triassic period. This genus was one of the earliest dinosaurs from the fossil record.  All known fossils of this carnivore have been discovered in the Ischigualasto Formation of Carnian age (late Triassic according to the ICS, dated to 231.4 million years ago) in northwestern Argentina. For many years, the classification of Herrerasaurus was unclear because it was known from very fragmentary remains. It was hypothesized to be a basal theropod, a basal sauropodomorph, a basal saurischian.
